BUSINESS E-TOWN: ONE-STOP ONLINE HUB FOR START-UPS AND SMES

The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), in collaboration with relevant agencies, has launched Business e-Town (www.business.gov.sg) to provide one-stop assistance to businesses doing business in Singapore. Information includes regulations, governmental incentive schemes, legal environment, networking and recruitment assistance. Local entrepreneurs and Small and Middle Enterprises (SMEs) would find government incentives and financial schemes (of which there are numerous) relevant.

Currently, these incentives are categorised according to 'intentions' (such as "Expand my Business") in a searchable manner.

The next phase of Business Incentives project under Business eTown will allow businesses to apply for incentives online, and also allow agencies to process these applications.
