In line with
the Singapore Government's initiative to encourage Singaporeans
to transact electronically , the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board
has outfitted all five of its offices island-wide with 'e-lobbies'
.
Since May 2003,
there are about 30 kiosks at CPF offices servicing the needs of
CPF customers round the clock. CPF Customer Service Officers are
on hand to assist customers who may be unfamiliar with transacting
over the Internet.
The e-lobbies
also have the facility to print various CPF statements.

The inception of e-lobbies
has significantly alleviated the bottleneck of queues at the service counters.
Service level and staff productivity have also benefited from the 76%
reduction in customer requests.
Singapore
Personal Access (SingPass)
SingPass, or the Singapore Personal Access, is the common password that
all Singaporeans can use to access Government e-services at www.ecitizen.gov.sg,
as well as various Government websites.
Some examples of Government agencies and e-services using SingPass are:
Central Provident Fund Board: View CPF statements online
and submit online applications
Urban Redevelopment Board: Signage Approval
Registry of Companies and Businesses: BizFile
